Cheryl Gresham is an accomplished marketing professional who thrives across categories, in both winning environments and managing through crises.
Cheryl Gresham is currently the Head of Marketing, USA at TikTok, reporting to the Head of Global Marketing at TikTok. She has oversight of Marketing strategy and execution in the US, TikTok’s #1 market. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that the inspiration and creativity that thrives on the platform is nurtured, celebrated, and distributed to entertain existing users and drive new users. During her tenure, TikTok launched it’s first ever, large scale marketing campaign, “It Starts on TikTok,” and the Brand was named AdAge’s Marketer of the Year for 2020.
Prior to joining TikTok, Cheryl was the Global Head of Integrated Media for YouTube, leading both the performance and brand media strategies/teams driving subscriptions, viewership, and love of the YouTube brand/products (YouTube Music, TV, Originals, Kids, Gaming, and Premium). At Mattel, she led Global Integrated Marketing and Media for brands such as Barbie and Hot Wheels and drove both sales and content viewership. Her background at Taco Bell, leading Media in the US for 5+ straight years of same store sales growth, and working at agencies and Coca-Cola early on in her career has provided a foundation for her to develop both a depth and breadth of expertise in winning and overcoming major obstacles.
Cheryl Gresham graduated from the University of Washington. She has had the fortune to be part of teams that were named Marketer of the Year in 2013 and 2020. She has also been recognized as a Top 100 Women in Branding and Digital Marketer of the Year. She has sat on several Advisory Boards, Product Councils and Panels, including Facebook’s and Roku’s Product Councils, Integral Ad Science’s Advisory Panel, and VidCon and #sheknows’ Media Advisory Boards.
