Ian began his career in Sports Marketing working in Triple A Baseball for the Houston Astros as Director of Marketing. He then began with Lamar in 2004, and has advanced through roles specializing in Events & Sports Marketing, National Sales, Innovation and Digital Out-of-Home Strategy. Throughout the years, his influence on technology, digital innovation and sales strategy has strongly impacted both the OOH industry and Lamar’s Digital presence. Now, as Lamar’s VP of Digital Growth/GM Programmatic, Ian works with Programmatic SSPs, DSPs and client brands and agencies to devise strategic plans utilizing Digital OOH. His unique ties with Lamar’s Digital Network Operations help drive new, future innovations through the use of technologies such as real-time feeds, social platforms, 1st/3rd party data and interactive technologies as well as a heavy focus on Data and Attribution. Ian is the Chair of the Innovation Committee for the OAAA and sits on Advisory Boards and Committees with DPAA, DSF, DSE, GeoPath and other industry associations. Ian is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing & Communications minor and 2019 OAAA 1st Rising Star Award. Baton Rouge Forty Under Forty.
